Umana Academy

The Mario Umana Academy is a K-8 school located in East Boston. Part of the Boston Public School system, the Umana Academy offers many services to their diverse student body, including a dual-language program in English and Spanish, Expanded Learning Time hours to allow for additional supports and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, daily science classes for grades 1-8, and programming for students with limited or interrupted formal education.

Union Capital

The YMCA of Greater Boston provides programming, spaces, and services to support the health and wellness of individuals and families in communities across Greater Boston. The YMCA is dedicated to providing safe and accessible services, including fitness and education classes, summer employment, camps, and food programs.

East Boston Social Center

East Boston Social Centers, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing educational, social, and recreational services to build community and strengthen families in East Boston. Since its founding in 1918, East Boston Social Centers has truly become an integral part of the East Boston community.

Piers Park Sailing Center

Piers Park Sailing Center (PPSC) is a nonprofit community center that provides accessible recreational and educational programming for people of all ages and abilities. PPSC programming uses marine science and community sailing to empower participants to become leaders in their community and advocates for a healthy Boston Harbor.

Soccer Without Borders

Soccer Without Borders (SWB) is an international youth development program with the mission of using soccer to encourage positive change and provide young people with the tools to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success. In East Boston, as well as other sites around the world, SWB creates a culture of acceptance and inclusion that supports individual, team, and community goals.

East Boston Neighborhood Health Center

The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is the leading health care provider in the area. Over the past 50 years, they have focused on providing accessible, affordable, and personalized high-quality care for all residents of East Boston and surrounding communities. Let's Get Movin' is a lifestyle-change program through the Health Center that uses medical monitoring, physical activity, and nutrition education to encourage young people in East Boston to make healthy lifestyle choices.

The Donald McKay School is a K-8 Boston Public School located in East Boston. The McKay School is a certified Family Friendly school based on their efforts to involve parents extensively through monthly council meetings, social events, and family programs and workshops.

The East Boston Youth Ambassador Committee (YAC) is a youth-led initiative of the EBHFC, using social media to spread awareness around the intersection of physical health, mental health, and healthy eating throughout the East Boston youth community.
