FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

The Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a government program available to eligible low-income individuals and families to assist with the cost of food.

​

There are ways to get assistance figuring out your eligibility, applying for, and receiving SNAP benefits. See our informational flyer for more details.

If you currently receive SNAP benefits, you are automatically enrolled in the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP).

Through this program, you can receive an instant dollar-for-dollar match on your SNAP account when buying fruits and vegetables from local growers. To learn more, see the flyer to the left, or click to read the full brochure below:

As December 1st 2024, monthly cap for HIP is $20 per household, independent of size.
