HOW  TO  ADD  YOUR  OWN  EVENTS  TO OUR   CALENDAR

You can share your own events with community using the collaborative calendar above! Here is a step-by-step guide:

  1. Click on the time that your event will occur. This should be somewhere on the white space of the calendar.

  2. You should now have a window pop up with the different details you can alter about your event. 

  3. Type in your event title in the upper most box labelled "Enter the event title..." 

  4. Choose the date and time that your event is taking place. If your event is an all-day event, you can click the "all-day" check box. If your event will happen more than once, you can click the "repeat" box and adjust whether the event will repeat every day, week, month, or year. If your event will repeat more than once a week, you can select which days it will repeat on under the "weekly" tab. 

  5. Under the "calendars" section, you can select which tags your event fits with best. The options to select are: free, paid, nutrition/food, physical activity, virtual, in-person, and add your own event. You should only be able to select "add your own event". This is because it is a special calendar that will hide the details of your event until our members have approved your event. Use the "description" section at the bottom and type in which additional tags you would use to describe your event and our members will add them for you in the approval process. 

  6. Use the "where" section to type in an address for your event. 

  7. Save your event!
